No7 Menopause Skincare Instant Radiance Serum review
At a glance
No7 Menopause Skincare Instant Radiance Serum is a hydrating, cooling-applicator serum that is explicitly marketed for menopausal skin. It is worth considering if you want a lightweight serum under your moisturizer and you are comfortable with a fragranced formula. It is not a replacement for a moisturizer, and it does not treat hormonal change. If your skin is itchy, stinging or very dry, fix the basics first.
This is a researched review of No7’s current official ingredient list, directions and published claims. We have not used the serum and make no before-and-after claim. “Menopause skincare” is the brand’s range name and positioning; it is not a medical category.

What the official ingredient list shows
No7’s US product page, checked October 10, 2026, lists water, dimethicone, glycerin, octyldodecanol, butylene glycol, niacinamide, panthenol, sodium hyaluronate and a long tail that includes ceramides NP, NS, AP, EOS and EOP, cholesterol, soy isoflavones, green tea leaf extract, ascorbyl glucoside and several peptides. It also lists “Parfum (Fragrance)” and “Alcohol.”
What that means for a buyer:
- Hydration: glycerin, hyaluronate, panthenol and ceramides are conventional moisture and barrier ingredients.
- Peptides and niacinamide: present, but no percentages are published.
- Soy isoflavones: listed as a plant-derived cosmetic ingredient. This does not make the serum hormone therapy, and the page makes no such claim.
- Fragrance and alcohol: both are on the list. The brand says the serum is suitable for sensitive skin, but that is a brand claim, so patch test if you react easily.
- Name confusion: the US page’s web address says “menopause-care-intense-replenishing-serum” while its title says Instant Radiance Serum. Check the name on the package you receive.
Brand claims, and how far they go
No7 says the serum is co-created with over 7,000 menopausal women, dermatologist approved for menopausal skin, and delivers 72-hour hydration (an instrumental skin-hydration study). The UK page adds that the face and neck look firmer in one week. These are brand claims. The pages we checked do not give participant numbers, comparison products or study design, so we cannot judge them. A hydration measurement is not the same as a visible improvement in lines.
Is it a good serum for mature skin?
It may suit you if:
- your moisturizer is already comfortable and you want a light extra hydrating step;
- you like a cooling roller on hot, flushed skin;
- you have used fragranced skincare without trouble.
Skip it, or ask a clinician first, if:
- your skin is newly sensitive, burning or itchy. Start with menopausal skin suddenly sensitive and fragrance-free versus unscented;
- you want one product that replaces a moisturizer;
- you are trying to keep the routine to two or three steps. See a simple menopause skincare routine.
Persistent dryness, itch or rash is a reason to see a qualified clinician.

How to use it more safely
Patch test on the inner arm for a few days. Apply to cleansed skin before your cream, and keep it away from the eyes, as the label directs. Use sunscreen in the morning. If it stings, stop. For the wider decision about serums see best hydrating serums for menopausal skin.

Questions before buying
Is No7 Menopause Instant Radiance Serum worth it?
It is worth considering as a hydrating serum if you like the cooling roller and accept fragrance. It is not worth buying for the promise of changing menopausal skin, which a cosmetic cannot do.
Does it contain estrogen or hormones?
No. It lists soy isoflavones, a plant ingredient, but the formula is a cosmetic. Hormone treatment is a question for a qualified clinician.
Can I use it with retinol or vitamin C?
It contains small amounts of vitamin C derivatives. If you use a retinol or exfoliating acid, introduce one product at a time and read retinol irritation in menopausal skin.
Is it good for sensitive skin?
The brand says suitable for sensitive skin. It lists fragrance and alcohol, so reactive skin may prefer a fragrance-free serum.
The researched verdict
A pleasant, cooling hydrating serum with a conventional moisture formula and a menopause name on the box. Buy it if you want that step and accept fragrance; skip it if your skin is reactive. Keep expectations modest.
