Editorial policy
How we source, assess and correct skincare information and recommendations.
We publish practical skincare information for readers navigating perimenopause and menopause. The reader's skin concern and the available evidence guide coverage and recommendations.
Research and product checks
For product facts, we use primary sources such as the manufacturer’s current product page and ingredient list. We check the exact product identity and record a check date before publication. Availability and prices can change; a past check is not a promise that a product remains available at the same price.
Research-based recommendations are identified as researched. They do not imply personal use. We describe personal observations only when use was documented, and keep those observations separate from clinical evidence and manufacturer claims.
Evidence and limits
Medical or physiological statements need credible clinical or dermatology sources and cautious wording. We do not diagnose, promise clinical results, or present a cosmetic as treatment. If a symptom persists or worsens, we direct readers to a qualified clinician.
Commercial relationships
Any commission disclosure appears near a recommendation and before its first paid link. Commission rates do not set our selection criteria or ordering. A product must have a clear reader fit and its meaningful downsides should be stated.
Corrections
If you find an error, contact us with the page address, the passage, and a reliable source that helps us check it. When a correction changes a material product fact or recommendation, we will update the page and its check date where appropriate.
